Starting off as a Clinical Engineer at the hospital and head of Medical Electronics Dpt in 1983 I stepped over to Industrial and Technical Automation as a Project Manager. Since then I've always been in management positions, more and more oriented towards marketing&sales. In 2008 I became Managing Director (CEO) of InTraffic, ca 150 employees working on technical information systems for Public Transport (traffic management on rail, travel information systems, infrastructure monitoring, mobility data systems). In 2018 I moved to Italy with my wife, still working part-time as Director Innovation at InTraffic and member of several control boards in the Public Transport sector.
My personal interest and vision: Life is an adventure, searching for yourself and every day a lot of choices and decisions. Serendipity is always around, good luck and bad luck. Personal and Inter-Personal Leadership will help finding your way. The 7 habits of highly effective people, by Stephen Covey, is of all times and has helped me a lot.
